Community support and useful links

There is a wealth of resources to help you but we know at times, it can be overwhelming knowing where to turn.

Here is a list of charities and organisations that can offer support at a time of need.

Support services vary between area and can regularly change. However many local councils host a directory of helpful, local services on their websites which may be useful for tenants who would benefit from additional, impartial help, for example, debt counselling.

We are working with South Ribble Borough Council to offer tenants living in the South Ribble area vital financial support through the Household Support Fund.

Tenants in South Ribble can apply for up to £150 for household essentials or £200 for single-resident households.

To apply, please download the income and expenditure form (also found in the dark blue downloads box below) and send an email to hsf@progressgroup.org.uk

Please include:

  • Your name 
  • Your address 
  • Your contact number 
  • Your email address 

Please let us know advise if you want the fund for food and/or fuel or white goods.  

Once this is received we will contact you by phone and complete the application form with you.
