Project SEARCH
We have welcomed our fourth cohort of young people to Progress Housing Group via the DFN Project SEARCH supported internships programme. The programme offers young adults aged 17-21 with a learning disability or autism, a year-long training and employment internship to help them transition successfully from college into paid employment or other opportunities after further education.
The new interns began this year's programme on 10 September, and we welcomed them into the business to begin their rotations earlier this month.
We were delighted to be recognised for our achievements during the DFN Project Search annual conference and awards evening. The award recognises our programme as receiving 80% or higher in supporting our interns with completing their internships and moving into paid employment or further opportunities.
Well done to all our colleagues and delivery partners Runshaw College, Lancashire County Council, and South Ribble Borough Council. It is a project we are so proud to be part of.
