Community clean up days
We loved seeing our tenants and local community partners get stuck in during our recent community clean-up and litter pick day.
Volunteers from our contractors Nurture Group and 3D ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED helped our teams and tenants move large bulky waste into large skips and pupils from St Mary's Catholic High School in Leyland joined us litter picking.
Also on hand during the day were South Ribble Borough Council’s Social Prescribing Team and members of our Progress Futures Team offering employment, training, and apprenticeship advice.
Joanne Lloyd, Community Development Officer for South Ribble Borough Council told us: “Partnership working within the community is key as it helps us access people who need our services. Days like this are crucial in speaking face to face to the community and being able to offer information and support.”
