Brighter Futures wins Housing Heroes Award

We are delighted to share the news that our Brighter Futures programme has won Recruitment Campaign of the Year at the Housing Heroes awards.

Sarah, our Talent Acquisition Lead, gives a quick low-down on what the programme involves:

Progress Housing Group's innovative Brighter Futures programme was launched in 2023, following our success with the Government's Kickstart programme.
The inception of Brighter Futures was driven by our commitment to empowering our tenants. Offering paid placements for up to eight tenants over two years, the programme provides a platform for personal and professional growth.
 
Our success stories
Our participants have gained invaluable experience whilst participating in the programme, leading to increased confidence and clearer career paths.
Holly and Alex, who were part of our first cohort, have successfully transitioned into positions within our organisation.

Looking ahead
As we embark on the second year, we are eager to extend this opportunity to more of our tenants. Our goal remains steadfast—to provide a nurturing environment where our tenants can fulfil their potential and flourish.
